Customer Success Manager

Jacksonville, Florida 32246

Job ID: 213 Industry: Customer Success

Hot startup seeks long-term relationships

I recently introduced you to ORHub, a dynamic hospital-software startup with offices in Bellevue, Southern California, Florida, and Arizona. The company sells technologies that help health facilities track surgical outcomes and improve patient care.

As you might guess, there’ s a huge potential market for this, but that market won’ t build itself: ORHub is looking for Customer Success Manager(s) who can build and sustain lasting relationships with hospitals and health centers. These positions will be based in San Diego and Jacksonville, Fla.

ORHub states that it is looking for “ a customer-facing manager” who “ will successfully support a select group of hospitals by listening, educating, and responding to their needs.”

This work will include maintaining frequent contact with hospital staff; managing day-to-day customer relations; regularly helping customers on-site; providing support in operating rooms during active surgeries; and passing along customer requests and requirements to ORHub’ s product-development and engineering teams.

This position reports to the Vice President for Customer Success, and the individual selected for the role will work closely with sales to focus on maximizing the customer’ s value from ORHub.

To fill this role, ORHub is looking for five or more years of experience in a customer-service or account-management role, as well as a proven ability to develop and nurture customers. Experience in the tech or health-care sectors would be a major asset, as would proficiency in data-analysis, CRM, and Microsoft Office programs. In addition, the company is looking for candidates with strong overall business acumen, and would welcome a background in consulting, project management, or product management.

This is a position that will require some travel; the company estimates the requirement at about 30 percent of overall work time, some of which might be scheduled on short notice.

If this sounds like an intriguing opportunity for you or someone you know, drop me a line!

PS From PSP: Been hearing lots of conversation lately about Amazon, the head tax, HQ2, and what all of this means for the Seattle area’ s economic future. This is a complex and important set of topics – one that I intend to delve into further on our recently launched newsletter.

The bottom line for now: I’ m very optimistic about our region’ s future, but that optimism is grounded in large part on my faith that our community will effectively navigate its way through these and other related challenges.

Alas, that outcome is by no means guaranteed. Stay tuned for more on all of this. In the meantime, go enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest late-spring weather! ###
