Director of Marketing
Seattle, WA 98101
We have successfully completed this engagement.
Valant continues to bulk up for further growth.
I recently introduced you to Valant, a Seattle software developer serving the needs of the rapidly growing behavioral-health sector. This company is already the leader in its market, and it’ s clearly aiming for a new phase of growth.
To help bring that about, Valant (first syllable pronounced “ veil”) is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager. As you might guess, this role is responsible for planning and executing B2B marketing strategies, including the implementation of lead-generation and customer-retention programs.
The Senior Marketing Manager will also take the lead for online marketing programs and activities, as well as for tracking demand patterns and market trends. This will include creating and executing the company’ s marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate has a passion for digital marketing and customer acquisition, and knows how to balance a self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work collaboratively across teams.
In addition, Valant would like to see 6+ years of marketing experience – including experience with Marketo, lead generation, online marketing, vertical markets, and customer retention. An understanding of the behavioral-health sector is helpful but not mandatory.
This is another great opportunity to take on a very substantial management post at a highly successful and growth-oriented local company. Let me know if it might be a fit for you or anyone you know!
PS From PSP: Many congrats to Peckman Search Partners friend and client Matt Scheuing, the CEO over at Changepoint. Matt and his company are earning a lot of favorable attention for their growth and dynamism – and the latest example is a new profile on Matt in GeekWire.
He’ s being his typical thoughtful and fascinating self, including with this jewel of leadership wisdom:
“ A lot of the mythology of the CEO is overblown — that you are all-controlling and all-knowing and quick and decisive,” he said. “ It makes it look almost cartoonish. The modern CEO role is just as much a servant and enabler as a leader.”
Great insight, Matt – one that leaders at all levels can learn from. You live it, my friend – which is a big reason why Changepoint is enjoying such notable success! ###
