At last, the circle nears completion. In my two previous messages, I – Gina Peckman, Good Queen of the Search Partners of Peckman and the First of My Name – have guided you through a Confidential Quest for Three Sages to sustain the prosperity of an Unnamed Realm.

I have revealed to you that this Realm has robust revenue growth, outstanding customer retention, and a strong position in the endpoint-management and security market for organizational clients seeking to streamline and protect their desktop and laptop network connections.

Furthermore, I have shared with you the essential qualities of the first two Sages sought by this Realm – a Chief Revenue Officer and a Chief Marketing Officer. Those searches have just begun, and now you will become privy to another: the hunt for the Third Sage, a Vice President of Business Development and Alliance Partnerships.

In many respects, this could just as accurately be called a “ corporate development” role – it’ s a highly strategic position that emphasizes dealmaking, partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions. This agile alchemist will also be responsible for driving business relationships with key channel partners; establishing resale agreements; and setting annual business objectives.

This mission is not for the untested, nor for the faint of heart. The Realm requires at least seven years’ experience in enterprise-technology sales; a demonstrated ability to collaborate with channel partners to drive complex sales; and a solid record of exceeding sales targets.
